George Stevenson launched his steam train from Stockton to Darlington in UK about 200 years ago.
During that time, it was faster than horse drawn vehicles. It can travel further, faster and carry heavier loads and passengers.
Since then, steam trains had been replaced with diesel powered trains for about 150 years. However, diesel trains emit hazardous exhaust into the environment.
Now, diesel trains are being replaced with electric and hydrogen powered trains which reduce airpollution.
High speed trains have developed magnetic levitation and vacuum loop trains which can travel beyond 400 km/hour.
