Malacca picks new site for HSR station

THE Malacca government has identified a new site for a Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail (HSR) station, which was previously planned for Ayer Keroh.
MELAKA has about 60 km of railtrack passing through the state. Once the HSR project is completed, Melaka will again have trains running after 90 years.

State Public Works, Transport, Public Amenities and Infrastructure Committee chairman Roslan Ahmad said it will be located near Green City, between the Alor Gajah sub-district of Durian Tunggal and Ayer Panas in Jasin.
