With the recent HSR train from Nong Khai to Kunming in 2021, there is a direct railway link from Singapore to Kunming, China.
Once our ECRL is completed in 2026, we can travel to China using the route via Pahang, Trengganu and Kelantan into Thailand and beyond.
Besides visitors on the rail, goods can also be transported by land.
This mode of transport reduces delivery time compared to sea freight.
