If the Melaka state want to develop Pulau Besar into a top tourist attraction in Melaka, why not consider building an iconic bridge to connect Teluk Mas to the island?
The distance is only 4 km from Teluk Mas.
Vehicles can use the bridge by paying a reasonable toll for this convenience.
Currently, Melaka has no bridge connected to an island.
Food for thought for our planners.

Melaka will open the Gadek hot spring and spa on 23rd. August 2023 to visitors. It will be another tourist attraction in Melaka.

He said the near-completion of the Gadek Wellness and Spa Resort is expected to complement the state's goal of achieving this figure.
"The resort has 20 rooms and eight chalets with personalised hot spring pools.
"It is expected to attract thousands of tourists here, especially from Germany and Taiwan," he said on Monday (March 20).
He said the resort and hot spring are among 138 iconic tourist spots in the state.
"The Gadek Hot Spring Complex was upgraded using the ‘wellness and spa' concept and is a natural hot spring bathing site that contains sulphur, which is deemed to have health benefits," he said.
MELAKA: The cruise terminal project at Melaka Gateway in Pulau Melaka here will be revived, says Anthony Loke.
The Transport Minister said the developer, KAJ Sdn Bhd, has made an application to approve the project that was previously shelved.
"The approval for the reclamation work by Melaka Gateway that had been nullified previously is now being considered for approval," he said after opening the Melaka DAP's AGM here on Sunday (March 5).
