13TH. ANNIVERSARY OF MELAKA AND GEORGETOWN WORLD HERITAGE SITES

Malacca and Georgetown were declared World Heritage sites 13 years ago. 

NEW TREE OF SAME SPECIES BEING REPLANTED

The Melaka Historical City Council is transplanting a new tree of the same species from Bukit Katil to the Studthuys. It replace the old century tree that tumble down recently.

ONE OF 2 AGE OLD MAJESTIC TREES COLLAPSES

One of 2 century old majestic trees at the Stadhuys has collapsed early this morning. It fell towards the Clock Tower. Luckily,  the century old clock tower was undamaged. 

This iconic tree had been there for at least 100 years. 

It was a pity and a great loss to all Malaccans especially and Malaysians in general.

AUDITION FOR ENCORE MELAKA

Open Audition Casting requirements:

•   Age 16 – 45 years old

•   Priority stage performance experience

•   Submit 1 minute video of your performance (mp4 format) before 8 January 2021

Open Audition Process:

•   Candidates who are interested in joining the open audition should fill-up the form and upload a one-minute performance video clip before 8 January 2021. Not limited to drama, dance, vocal or playing musical instruments.

•   The shortlisted candidates will be confirmed via email on 10 January 2021 for the second audition.

•   Second audition will be held from 15th January 2021 – 17th January 2021. Venue for the second audition to be confirmed.

•   Second audition will be notified by phone call after the second audition ends.

•   The successful candidates will be signing a part-time contract and must follow the rehearsal periods from 22 January 2021 – 24 January 2021 and 27 January 2021 – 31 January 2021.
